Welcome to North East Warrington Credit Union (NEWCU)!
We are a community organisation providing savings, loans and offering financial advice. The Credit Union is non-profit making body owned and run by it's members. So, if you live or work in the north east Warrington area, we are here to serve you with a totally free, reliable and confidential service. We offer:
- Savings schemes for adults and young persons.
- Affordable and easy to understand loans.
- Wages, benefits, tax credits etc. can all be paid into your account.
- We have lent our members more than £3m.
By growing savings we are keeping money within the area and strengthening our local community.
News - We are moving!
19th November 2008
We have outgrown our existing premises at Vulcan Close, Padgate. Due to the growth in our membership and our financial success, we are now able to purchase our own premises. We are moving to the former Post Office building , 2 Cinnamon Lane, Padgate. We expect to move in March or April 2009.

Anyone living or working in the north east Warrington area can become a member of North East Warrington Credit Union.

NEWCU Savings Schemes
We encourage regular saving as a key part of our financial advice.
Members can start saving with as little as 50p, with interest rates that encourage you to save more and help you gain greater financial security.
